We are celebrating our Golden Anniversary, 50 years of showing and breeding purebred cats. Echo Hill Ethan, (below) is our current sire. We specialize in Golden exotic cats.
Exotics, and their parent breed, Persians, come in large palette of colors and patterns. Goldens and silvers are seldom seen colors, with a limited number of breeders working with this division. Both Golden and Silver Exotics are known for their sweet, calm, and affectionate personalities. They are known to be affectionate “lap cats” & adapt well to indoor living. They tend to be very gentle, sociable, and good with children and other pets. Exotic Golden & Silvers tend to be less active and more laid-back than many breeds — they love lounging. They are also Intelligent and playful, but not overly demanding of attention. Despite their shorter coat, Exotic Shorthairs still benefit from regular brushing (2–3 times a week) to prevent matting and reduce shedding. There are a lot of qualities to strive for. Heavy boned cobby bodies. Green eyes, lined with black. A brick red nose leather, edged in black. Lips and paw pads are also black. I strive for a sweet expression and large, wide-open eyes. The coat color can be as varied as a blond hair color chart, from pale honey to rich copper. And of course, a healthy cat with a sweet temperament.
